 Recipe of the Day: Masala Khichdi


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • ½ cup moong dal
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 4 cups water
